“See
ye not how Allah has created the seven skies one above another, And made the
moon a light in their midst, and made the sun as a (Glorious) Lamp?” [Holy Qur’an
71:15-16]
“Blessed is He Who made Constellations
in the skies, and placed therein a Lamp and a Moon giving light.” [Holy Qur’an
25:61]
Explanation:
(We already discussed about the 7 different
layers of sky). Here the Sun is referred to as a lamp
for it has its own illumination, while the Moon is said to have reflected light
or borrowed light, meaning not its own.
Discovery:
Recently studies confirmed that the Moon
is having no light its own and only is reflecting the Sun's light; which the
Glorious Qur’an had clearly said 1400 years ago……
And this scientific fact is a best evidence
for proving that Holy Qur’an is not a simple book from any of Human; instead
had came from the Almighty God. To the non-believers, God is challenging to
prove any of the sentences from Holy Qur’an as false:
“Do
they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than God,
they would surely have found therein much contradiction." [Holy Qur’an 4:82]
